Competition among Brand Keywords : Our biggest challenge was to rank the brand keywords among our internal competitors

Less Organic Traffic: None of the general keywords were ranking among top 100 positions. The site was generating very little traffic from some brand keywords.

Indexability Issues: No pages were getting crawled by Google. Homepage was not even ranking for Brand keywords.

There were no non-brand keywords ranking in the top 100 results.

Absolutely zero digital footprint of the brand online

Very Less Backlink Count: The total backlinks coming to the website were very low in number. The existing backlinks were mostly spam and low authority.

Unstructured Website architecture: The website had index-ability, 301, 404, sitemap, robots and other technical issues which impacted the ranking.
Solutions

Focusing on brand keywords, since they were getting the most traffic from brand search.

Worked on ranking the website for high search volume brand and non-branded keywords to improve the organic traffic to the website.

The website had a “no-index” tag enabled which discouraged search engines from indexing the website. Only 20% of the urls were indexed. The issue was with website structure, spam backlinks, duplicate titles and other technical errors(301,404 etc).

Did a toxic backlink audit and removed all the unwanted backlinks using Google Search Console tool.
